Is there a way to vent air out of the closet? If your system is blowing hot air into an enclosed space it's going to just suck that hot air back in and heat it even more and create a deadly situation for your rig. In that case, even if you have a $1K cooling solution it'll do no good. Try to vent the closet with 2 fans doing push/pull before doing anything else.

actually i saw something you might find useful just the other day.  think about those fans that are in the shape of a tower and they just stand up in the room.  now, think about that but as a radiator made by zalmen.  I bet they are expensive, and us college kids dont have a lot of cash....but it might be worth it.  also if your pc is on carpet and you have a psu intake, stand it on ice cube trays, thats what I do!

if anything leaving the closet open leaves some air space but hmm wonder if the college would notice a hole drilled somewhere <_<...if anything my friend has a water cooling setup and seems to be fine as long as his closet remains open and his stuff underclocked *he apparelly only plays minecraft and host a server...along with world of tanks*

but at the same time i'd point the back where the heat is coming from to the other side so that the back is facing the door for more airflow however i can't get my cording to reach... as i've a bit of a getto setup:

*and yes those 2 TVs (not monitors again was on a budget and got them for dirt cheap...and might have been inspired a bit by a youtuber with 3 32 inch tvs to get tvs instead of monitors) are set up for a duel monitor setup atm...the 3rd is my roommate's and has no relation

but anyway the cord towards the samsung won't reach unless i put my destop right at the back of the closet next to it

if anything with the case...is there possibly a way to reverse airflow so that air comes out from the front or is that not possible?

It's very easy to reverse the airflow, simply flip the front fans around.

You could leave the closet door open and use a room fan to blow air out, it's ghetto but it works.

Unless you are a real idiot you can't really screw it up, do you currently have an air cooler or a water cooler?

All you have to do is dismount the front fan(s), flip them around, and put it back on.

I'm a cautious person, so I personally would do a simple water-cooling system.  Since it doesn't sound like you're over-clocking, I'd consider a simple all-in-one water-cooler.  This way IF the closet does happen to close, you don't have to stress about it over-heating.
Just my 2 cents.

that's what my roommate at my dorm said also about getting a water cooler...if anything again sorry if this is a water cooler question in a air cooler forum, but a *better* cooler that can fit here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147170 that might help with the heat issue
