Pebble drops his prices, jokes with Jony Ive and Moto 360/Galaxy Gear

Pebble announced today that it dropped the prices on their products, the standard Pebble and Pebble Steel.

 

The new prices:

Standard Pebble -> $99, €130.

Pebble Steel -> $199, €230.

 

Edit: Seems only for the US.

Edit2: Aurrorax just confirmed that the prices also dropped in the Netherlands.

 

Furthermore they made a joke regards the enthusiasm of some of the Apple employees of e.g. Jony Ive.

Also a little joke towards the Moto 360 and Galaxy Gear with the following quote:

I wonder how long the prices take to drop in Germany. We still pay around 180$ for a normal pebble.

I once had one of these, now I've got this.

Only for the US. In the UK it's still the same price.

Battery life is the reason why I would still choose Pebble over any other smartwatch.

DO IT NOW! The Pebble is awesome. And it lasts me 5 days easy, 6 to 7 if I use it less frequently.
