Ram help! 1600MHz vs 1866MHz

Unless your going with an APU and no GPU there will be no difference in almost all situations.

Hello smart people

 

Ive been looking for ram and ran across the HyperX Fury ram (single 8 gb stick), and found that for only about 10 usd i could get 1866MHz ram instead of 1600MHz. Is it worth it, and is it a noticeable difference?

And how will it benefit in gaming?

Barely any difference but 1866 is often the same price.

If the CAS is the same, the 1866 Mhz will be "faster" but it's unnoticeable in daily use.

Just get the cheapest module.
