Do i play half life or half life source first?

I just brought the valve complete pack off steam. I have nevr played half life so i will play them in order starting with the first half life game. But what one do i play Half life or Half life source i do not care about graphics just gameplay. Some people say source is not a good?

source is just a remake on the source engine. It's literally the same game.

Play the not source one first... The atmosphere of Half Life is better expressed with the old graphics...

Half life source is the same game as the original just updated with the source engine for better physics and graphics and such

Its like counterstrike source vs counter strike 1.6, same game... Different engine

Well, HL1 models are the same compared to the source version. The only thing I remember to be much different is the water...

No they removed the end boss which looks the best bit. Also the voice acting is crap and other things. People say it is like a hot girl with no Personality. The reviewers all say the game thing. I would rather play it as it was. The full game.

Just play Source. I'm playing through it right now too. There's nothing in the Source version that can be considered worse than the original in my honest opinion. Either way it's a fun game though.
