Has anyone on the forum ever tried to RAID 0 USB flash drives?

Has anyone successfully done this and if so, how good was it (what sort of performance increase did you see) and how long did it last? (if it failed).

It wouldnt even work. There too slow, and you would lose so much performance. You have a high chance of losing your data. Don't do it

I'm pretty sure RAID can only occur (at a bios level) through 2+ SATA ports, not usb ports so therefore impossible with a USB drive. You can use ready boost which reduces some of the strain on the HDD by the OS transferring files to the usb, but this is Windows based and doesn't merge the two storage systems. Its like a really slow RAM system.
