HD problem on Netflix

pspfreak

For some reason If I try to watch netflix in chrome, I don't have the HD indicator or quality. If I try the same in Internet Exploder, it works just fine. Here is an example.

The second image is from exploder. Chrome doesn't seem to be using silverlight.

Notice the different fonts and spacing on the player.netflix2.jpg

Great to see a former kyle xy fan. Yeah it seems all actual decent shows get canceled.

I remember when that pregnant teenager show came out and they were cancelling kyle xy for it. Talk about being pissed off, I watched 3 episodes of that show and it was ridiculous. Kyle xy was hands down the best show to come out at that time and it got pushed aside for all the pregnant teen moms. Bs

The HTML5 player doesn't have an HD notification icon.

Well, then explain max bitrate differences.

I've noticed I can't get HD to stream through the HTML5 player as well.

Using this to test HTML5 playback, I believe HTML5 is capped at 1750 kbps and Silverlight is capped at 3000 kbps.

In short you need to use the Netflix App in order to achieve 1080p quality.
