Braided PSU Cables

So I am tired of looking at the cables that came with my AX-760i, I am looking at buying a set of the Corsair individually braided cables to replace the original ones. I have briefly looked at braiding them myself but I don't think that is the direction I want to go this time. Maybe after a while I will change my mind and give it a go, but for this round I would rather just pay for the cables.

 

Ignore the current GTX-570, it will soon be replaced with an EVGA or ASUS GTX-980.

 

Here's where it gets a bit more complicated, I am going for a bit of a black and red theme (I know, everyone has seen enough black and red. Shut it ) in the long run. But this is a bit of a longer term project. My plan is to get one 980 as soon as I can get my hands on one, the next step will be a custom loop, finally another 980 will be integrated into the loop.

 

I am concerned that if I use clear acrylic tubing with red coolant, it will be too much red with red PSU cables. But I dont have a very keen sense of style so I am appealing to the thoughts and opinions of LTT.

 

I have attached a couple of pics of the system now, as well as an MS paint sketch of my planned water cooling loop.

I am surprised so far. I thought for sure LTT would be voting red. I guess I really do need style help Lol.

I'd go with a red but not too bright of a shade though, something like a blood red, just because it already looks pretty dark in there IMO, could do with a bit more accenting. If you did go red you would have to be more mindful of your cable runs though as it will stand out more. If you were going with a brightish coolant I might stick with black though.

I think i might just get a kraken g10 for my reference 760 zotac Even though when i booted into mac os the fan speed up to 100% and i though it was gonna explode so i quickly rebooted to go on windows or was it linux?
