LED configuration in an Enthoo Luxe.

aduman

Hi guys! My LED strip from Phanteks arrived a week ago and today I finally managed to get some free time to install them. The strip is 1 meter long. How should I set it up? I don't want to see the little led lights individually (if that's what they are called.)

I'd really appreciate it if you could do some ms paint editing on this to show me how you would do it:

Case in the photo is not mine btw. :) Thanks for the help!

but on the other side, facing into the case, if it's longer than that, wrap it round down the side but behind the hard drive cage wall, like the build you posted has if you look closely, although behind the wall not level with it

Remember to think about how you're going to get power to the strip, e.g. with mine I need to have the power end near a PCI bracket

I would personally run it behind the top lip of the case and down either the front behind the HDD cage area or the back and hide it behind the frame of the case, to get some lighting near the bottom of the case. If you want a nice even glow you'll want the light to be cast onto the components by the LED's and not see the source or LED itself. Also it's a good idea to take into consideration the proximity of components and if there are glossy surface which can reflect light emitted by the LED showing up like mini-spot lights.

You can always buy the 2m strip from phanteks and put on everyplace you need, should look good and not so bright.
