How to get your Windows 8 product key

Hi guys need some help, i originally bought windows 8 back when it first came out my pc os got corrupted and wouldn't boot so i need my product key again to reinstall windows. is there any way of getting this key?

atm im running windows 7 as you don't need a key to install that.

My PC specs are CPU: 6700k @4.7Ghz Ram: 16GB Corsair RGB Pro GPU: RTX 2070  PSU: RM650 CPU cooler: corsair H150 Case: corsair Motherboard: ASUS Z270 Pro SSD: 1tb Samsung 970 EVOand SK Hynix 1TB

Did you buy it physically or digitally? So it has to be either in the box you bought windows 8 in or in your Email inbox.

i bought it online on the microsoft website, i've had thousands of emails since then idk what i would search for to find it

search for "windows 8 registration" if can't find it you can call customer support, but I doubt that they will just give you a Windows 8 key.

Search your email inbox for 'microsoft' or something similar to try find the email

Well, there are 3rd party programs that can reveal Windows 8 key, I won't say what they are but I'll tell you that they are related to cracking the Windows 8. just look for this program .. "Product key finder" .. or something and it'll reveal it. I won't give you its name though.

I didn't mean it that way :) I just think that it's funny that you can't simply search for Windows 8.

Call Microsoft. They can lookup your key based off your purchase address, email used, or credit card information.

Why not buy it again? Windows 8 is like £10 now.
