Any program for subtitles?

nokturrduk84

So generally, what I'm looking for?

I got a movie (.mkv) which doesn't have subtitles. So I downloaded from the site it's subtitles, but it has delay for 1-2 seconds. I mean audio is ahead for 1-2 seconds. So, are there any programs with which help I can correct this problem?

You can change subtitle timings in VLC player or Windows Home Media Player.

How can I do that?

In VLC go to settings and in window that shows up in left bottom corner check ALL SETTINGS then on left panel click on SUBTITLES / OSD and in the right panel scroll down and there you will see SET DELAY and there enter delay you wish for. (I believe it is in mili secconds but I am not sure).

In Windows Hime Media Player it is simmilar but I have VLC installed only so I cant give you exact info.

Thx for tips, but I already found free good program - SubtitleEdit, which did it.

Thx anyway :)
