Intel Nuc vs Gigabyte Brix vs Apple Mac Mini

 

Which one is the best? I can't decide but I'm leaning toward the Brix. What are your thoughts?

That Brix is a pile of horseshit, just like all of the rest of the brix mini-desktops. The cooling is not enough for any of those systems, and they throttle quite a lot. 

 

What are you doing with the system, and why can't it just be a regular sized build?

Let me be the first to say that you shouldn't get a Mac Mini currently. It's still on Ivy Bridge and they're about to bring out a new one.

Then I'd look into an m-ITX computer.

You won't get away with much of anything with a game with Intel Integrated Graphics.

Get an M-ITX build like @dizmo said.

Hell even a person in HK would just get really smart and find a way to mount the PC to the wall or something!

There's always a way.

I see the NUC as a substitute for a PC in a work environment, or if you want a cheap, small solution at home for a work station or something.

Somewhere where you'll just be browsing the web and such.

Actually, I'd say probably 80% or more of home PC users could just get away with a NUC.
