When I first checked the temps for my i5-4670k at Idle, the temperatures were around 28-30 degrees. Is this a little high for water cooling especially this unit as I saw that other reviews get 22? ambient room temps is about 15-20 degrees Celsius.

Mine is around 18-19 (depending on ambient of course) with my G3258. your idle temps should be lower

No, thats perfectly normal. 

 

What are your load temperatures?  Idle doesn't mean much.

Load at 59 Degrees celsius with prime 95.
