what kind of solder?

Just your standard solder with flux? What I meant was solder new wires in the middle to lengthen the cable. I done the opposite to shorten mine where I needed to.

i have an NZXT phantom and the front USB and audio cables are hardly long enough, so i need some extendors for both but all i can find are the bitfenix they arnt bad but i cant find a sleeved black, only hard black or blue and the blue would stick out really bad, what are some other options? id like to keep it under $15 each. thanks guys and gals!

Cut the wires, solder a piece in the middle to increase the length to where you need it. Sleeve it and done. Or cut it somewhere behind the panel where it wont be seen.
