CUDA rendering in Vegas?

That Norwegian Guy

Long story short, I've never actually taken the plunge on purchasing Sony Vegas because of their supposedly horrible CUDA support.

And now with Maxwell out, I can't help but think Sony will fall even further behind.

It's like Vegas is a skeleton operation, they release a product then never update it until the next "give us more money" release.

Does anyone know if the 750 Ti / 970 / 980 will be properly supported for rendering in Vegas 13 or am I forced to wait until Vegas 14? Or maybe go with Adobe (though I hear they are just as bad with consumer cards)

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

OpenCL is still faster in Vegas, I'd use Adobe with CUDA.

That test is actually run using a format that your average consumer or even prosumer doesn't commonly use. Most people I know that use Sony Vegas render out to H.264 or AVCHD. That test doesn't accurately demonstrate this in those results. ;)
