Cooler for cpu

Hi guys!

Im wondering if my h100i will be able to handle the FX 9590 with good temp around 40 degres celcius or something like that.

Thanks in advance!

It is capable of cooling a 9590 in most conditions but seeing as coolers are primarily affect the most my your own ambient temps we can't guarantee what the performance would be like or if ti would be able to cool it at all.  If you tell us what your average ambient temps are then I would feel better about telling you if that cooler would work for you.

The H100i should be able to handle the FX 9590's heat, but definitely not 40C under load..

That being said, if you didn't buy the 9590 or an AMD board yet, you might want to look for an Intel alternative.

I'm not saying that AMD is bad (I have an AMD GPU in my system), but, for the same price, you can get something that would have similar performance, but way lower power consumption and heat output, at about the same price (for example, the Core i5 4690K).

If you've already got the 9590, yes, as I said, the H100i will be able to keep your CPU to safe temperatures.

Unless the OP's ambient is too high, remember the maximum safe temps for AMD CPU's is around 60c.

That CPU cooks shit! The H100i can probably handle it on stock clocks. Butboverclocking will kill that thing.

who cares...

the 9590 is already fully overclocked by AMD most of them can't take much more anyway and they alreay have the max 1.5v safe dialed in...

The 9590 is an highly overclocked 8350...you can't get much more overlock out of an already highly overlocked CPU...

The highest OC I've seen on a 9590 that was a daily use clock was 5.4Ghz and it required 1.6v. 9590's are pointless really, an i5 would be a far better investment.

or an i7 for multi-threaded tasks such as video editing, rendering, 3d modeling, transcoding etc...

Yeah, i wouldn't recommend it either. But it's a well binned CPU, i have seen articles stating that 1.58V or more are possible but a H100i can't handle that.

who cares...

Here in Australia AMD are doing a giveaway with the 9590 and a H100i so I wouldn't be too concerned
