Will Forza Horizon 2 beat The Crew?

I've been watching some FH2 videos, the game is meant to be an authentic racing game and it's really stunning in term of handling ,vast variety of legendary cars, a stunning open-world map and wise challenges but will it vanquish The Crew? 

 

it's a big shame that the game is an XBOX exclusive...

 

I'm asking the people who played The Crew, are there lots of cars? is the handling any good? what do you think about the whole game in general?

The Crew is the best racing game i ever played, it's realist in every single way you drive your car (at least more than other games), the free roam is awsome and the map HUGE!

 

At beta were only 14-16 cars if i remember well.

 

PvP was awsome but it had only 4 maps (since it was beta)

 

Customation was FREEKING AWSOME! I LOVE IT!

 

Cops were bad i can say there was no difference between 1star and 5 stars but i dunno if it was cause of beta (that was the only thing i didn;t like)

 

As i said map is huge and there are MANY challenges (i ride with my friends for 2 days around map just for fun and we didn't manage to complete a circle, 5-6hours driving per day)

 

There are some extra cars that you can find their parts while driving around map and they are pretty good if you ask me in performance.

 

In conclusion I TOTTALY RECOMMEND this game, unless you are Ubisoft hater.

i just noticed Ubisoft involved in this by watching the trailer to an extent i lost all my hopes and also in some gameplays, the cars didn't seem to handle very well!

Well you agree with the rest but you disagree with realist... it;s your opinion,that's fine. But compare to all NFS (except Shift) and Gran Tourismo i have played, i prefer crew for driving!

Preferring a particular method for car simulation over another doesn't make the one you like realistic. The Crew is not realistic in any way aside from the cars in the game actually existing in real life.

From what I've seen so far, Horizon 2 seems to be the better game.

 

I was in the closed beta for The Crew, and unfortunately the handling of the game is just not that great.

For comparison I only played the first Forza Horizon, and the driving was way more fun. From what I can tell right now, Horizon 2 also has great physics and driving but I did not get to play the demo yet.

Project CARS is more of a racing sim where you drive on closed tracks while The Crew and Forza Horizon 2 open world arcade racers are.

Many people don't want to drive on closed tracks. I personally like both, and I'll definitely try Project CARS when it comes out, but if you like Project CARS more or the other games is mostly personal preference.

Ohhh forza is open world!?!? Didn't realise that, cos every vid I've seen showed racing on a track. Assumed it was a sim like Gran Turismo (which is why I love PC so much. 1st true GT successor AND it's not confined to playstation)

Forza series (EG Forza 4 and 5) are closed track

The Forza Horizon is not

 

For me Horizon 2 (should )get the vote, as 1 is one of my all time favourite game, at the level of TDU 1

I was in the closed beta for The Crew, and unfortunately the handling of the game is just not that great.

My default first question then : Did you actually go through the menus and set up the deadzones and speed sensitivity and stuff? 

 

I read the handling complaint a lot, and 99% of the time those people didn't even know that you could customize it completely.

i saw some horizon 2 gameplay and i actially kinda liked it, and im hardly into racing/driving games.. anyone know if its comeing to pc or if its a xbone exclusive?

Played some forza horizon 2 on xbone so good looking forward to it for me 360.
