Record or stream?  Or both?

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

He only said record, so I'm guessing he only needs it to record gameplay not stream.

But we all know most people stream, which is going to require different storage options.

What resolution is he going to record at? Anything over 1440p/1600p, and you need to be looking at an SSD or HDD RAID 0 for lossless recordings. Plus size, at 1920x1200 a 1 minute AVI recording with DxTory takes up 2.88GB.
