Lots of Windows 8.1 problems..

Go to solution Solved by madknight3,

You could give the System File Checker tool a try and see if you can detect any corrupt or missing files http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

Hi guys!

I really need your help.. for the last past days, my laptop has been acting very weird.

So, i can't search for updates in Windows Update, it just says something like "Windows Update can't search for updates right now, because the service isn't running. You may have to restart your computer." I also can't open OneDrive or use Windows Store. OneDrive just won't respond, and I basically can't do anything in Windows Store. Everything else is running fine.

Edit: All these problems are new, and have never happened before.

Run System File Checker like madknight said, if that doesn't show anything I'd just do a SYSTEM REFRESH which does delete some apps and programs you can just reinstall easily.

GrandBandit, i probably won't do a system refresh, as i'm using this laptop for school everyday, and i have a much higher demand for it than usual.

The System File Checker is done and said:

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some

of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not
supported in offline servicing scenarios.
