The K95 and the rest of the switch types are now available on newegg.com/.ca to be releases on the 24th and 25th respectively.

I think the reason for the delay is because they wanted to put that weird "corsair gaming" logo on them xD

I preordered the K95 w/ Brown. Looking forward to it.

It's an awesome keyboard but the software takes a fair bit of time to make all the effects and profiles so it's not very noob friendly, although that's a good thing IMO

If I wanted to go that route I'd get the Metadot Das Ultimate 4.

I don't mind learning the software, and even if I'm short on time I see that the corsair forum already has lots of people posting their profiles.

I literally just ordered the K70 with Reds. I notice theres a slight cosmetic difference in the new K70 RGB with Reds (the logo), but is there anything else changed? Is it worth cancelling my order and waiting for the new one?

Impulse bought the red version last week at the store. Really enjoyed everything about the keyboard except for the red switches so I returned it.

 

Glad I did, looks like the wait for the Browns wasn't long at all!  :D

Preordered a Brown switch this morning from Newegg and I am glad I did, the browns are already on backorder.

Well I guess it is not any more. Before when I searched for the K70 it said back-order and to auto notify. I do find it wired that it says add to cart instead of pre-order like the other ones.

They must have offered it for pre-order almost immediately before going live.

Yea. I just checked my Newegg account and it says that it shipped, I paid for three day shipping so hopefully I will have it this week.

My preferred countries supplier of computer parts has the K95 RGB with browns listed at over $700 nz dollars.

I can get the same keyboard though Amazon for $240 US including freight. With the exchange rate no more than $300 dollars.  

Looks like I'm going to Amazon.

It would only say "Out of stock" if they were already on sale and available to purchase. Unfortunately their stock ran out and won't be replenished until December.

Am I the only person who would buy a K95 with blue switches even if it wasn't RGB? Hell, I would consider it even if it didn't have any LED back lighting at all, but the price would have to reflect that.

Have any of you managed to get a K95 with blue switches? I ordered mine around 6pm on monday and it still just says "pre-order". When I put it in my cart and bought next day shipping it said it was in stock so I don't know why I don't have my keyboard yet.

In the same boat buddy.

 

At the moment, I would find something else to keep your mind busy. I have been looking for answers for the last 20 hours to no avail. According to Corsair- there was a shipment issue on their end and Newegg did not get any K95 Cherry Mx Blues in stock. So itll probably be Monday before solid updates are released on this.
