First gaming build Tips and PC case trouble

Hello everyone I wanted to share my future build with you (hopefully). This is it:

CPU: Intel i7 4790K
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S

Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VII Hero
GPU: ASUS STRIX GTX 980
RAM: 2x4GB Kingston HyperX FURY
SSD: 120GB Kingston HyperX FURY

HDD: 1TB Seagate ST1000DM003
PSU:750W Antec TP-750C-EC

What do you think of the build? It's primarily for gaming. This build should last me 4-5 years (at least I hope so). Is it inefficient or too expensive? The price worries me but if it's worth it I can manage (kinda :D ) . Also it's my first time build something or even trying to. I'm a total newb so please help me :D

Now the second  question. Which case do you recommend me? I really like Cooler Master cases (how they look and the air flow) but you can recommend any. Please the price is 150$-200$. I'll maybe do Two-way SLI. I plan to overclock so I need a case with a very good air flow and fans! Also the looks are very important to me :D Thank you in advance!

But other than that it's a nice build and maybe you could get a water cooler not air ;)

Phanteks Enthroo Pro, or Corsair Air 540 was gonna recommend H440 but you need good airflow.

I would recommend getting a NH-D15 instead, if you like that mobo then keep it, (IMO) i don't like that mobo, i would recommend 850W psu for sli and room for overclocking, and a i5 4690k instead if your just gaming.

^^ Yes get a 4690K. Should do you well for many years to come.

I don't think that Antec PSUs are bad, but I don't know that they are one of the best. Maybe Corsair or Seasonic? (If there is one for a comparable price)

As for the case. Corsair or NZXT will do you good. There is still the mighty Corsair C70 if you want it to withstand a beating.

inb4 i5 is more than enough for gaming. Only in content creation for multi-threaded software that you need i7.

A GTX 980 is overkill for 1080p, someone will bash on me for this, so I'll ignore it if someone replies to me about this.

The 12S cooler can be a bit better, wanna try a D14? You're overclocking right?

I like the Fractal Design Define R4, and since you're build looks nice, the windowed version is a good idea.

for gaming only get a i5 4690k

the other parts are good enough for lasting 4 years

and for a case try this one

You can't find that case in my country. I live in Serbia. I'm thinking the Cooler Master Storm Trooper or the HAF X but I'm not so sure. They seem like a solid choice. What do you think? Is that processor really enough to last me 4 years?

This is what i recommend.

Added a 850 so in a few years you can get another 980 and go SLI

I checked but you can't find any Corsair cases in Serbia except:

Obsidian 900D

Obsidian 350D

230T

500R

It's a pretty poor country so thats what I get. I'm thinking the Cooler Master Storm Trooper or the HAF X but I'm not so sure. They seem like a solid choice. I can get 'em here. I'll check out the ideas for the coolers :D I'm a newb so I think water cooling is a bit out of my league right now. I also heard it's more expensive.

yes the processor (cpu) is good enough for four years if you want something extra after 2 years you can always overclock that processor to 4.7 ghz

i would recommend you searching on youtube for  hardwarecanucks he does a really good job  on reviewing case's or linustechtips ( duhhh ) or ncix , jayztwocents

my second choice would be for a case

nzxt H440

oh and get a 850w psu because you need some headroom for the future !

GODDAMMIT IT HAPPENED AGAIN. Wr don't have the NZXT H440. F*ck! Do you need a Full Tower or can a Mid Tower be enough? If so I'll probably go with the HAF XM, if not the dillema is between the HAF X and the Storm Trooper. I watched the reviews but I'm still in a dillema! I'll look into a good 850W PSU :D We have pretty much all the Cooler Master cases in Serbia so fire away >-<

So about what you can find in Serbia, you can find some (definitely not all):

  • BitFenix
  • Blueberry
  • Chieftec
  • Cooler Master
  • Corsair
  • LC Power
  • MS
  • Spire
  • SuperFlower
  • ThermalTake

Hope that helps.
