Low rise/flat keyboards for gaming

Syxx

Hi Guys,

Im planning to buy a good keyboard that i will be using for mostly gaming. Im not really into mechanical keyboards as most of these are high rise and are too noisy for me. I've used mostly laptops for the past couple of years so im used to low rise/flat keys. Im currently looking into the roccat isku fx keyboard. are there any other keyboards that you guys can suggest that fits my preference? hoping for a possibility of the led lights being blue as well :D

Thanks.

If you're into chiclet keyboards, then (I am going to get a lot of shit for this) Apple's Wired Keyboard is actually suprisingly nice. The Steelseries Apex is another one to consider. Logitech do plenty of awesome stuff as well.

Razer Lycosa/Arctosa if you're willing to go with Razer. (Lycosa has a nice blue backlight)

Any keyboard will pretty much do, just don't flip the elevators on the bottom. For an actual gaming board. The Gamdias Hermes is one of my favorites. Although don't get caught up in the whole "gaming" thing. Any mech board will be more than fine.

I don't recall if it's called the deathstalker, but yes they have another one that's low profile, I just forgot about it even though I saw it yesterday in the store where my buddy works.

DragonWar Dark Sector if you're into small-ish keyboards... It's got scissor switches and they feel like clickless slightly heavier Cherry MX Blues (umm a little help here?)...

Razer Deathstalker is the way to go. Just don't get the Ultimate one with the touchscreen. Not worth it

A friend of mine owns one. The touchscreen seems an ok idea on the Blade, where you only have one screen. Doesn't seem to make much sense on a desktop. I'll rate it alongside Bluetooth in terms of usefulness

I use a Logitech K740, it's not a "Gaming" keyboard but I like it. It's backlit has media keys, is very thin and quite nice to type on.

Even with the feet flipped down on my k740 it's still lower than a normal keyboard without the feet flipped down so your assertion that any board will do fine is incorrect since the OP is looking for a low profile board.
