Has anyone confirmed that it is possible to run adobe photoshop, premiere or media encoder (All CC version) with the GTX 980?

All Nvidia cards with CUDA technology will be supported by Adobe products. It may take an update for the software to see the cards, but that shouldn't be long.

I stand corrected. According to Adobe's website as of right now the 9xx cards are not supported by Premiere CC. Interestingly the 780 Ti is also not officially supported. Photoshop CC does not even mention CUDA technology

They'll probably have to patch/update the program for compatibility, but after that it should work.

CUDA isn't relevant :P Photoshop doesn't even utilize CUDA. What matters is that it has OpneGL and preferably also OpneCL support. Premiere is the only Adobe Program that benefits immensely from the CUDA Technology. All other programs are using Open CL if available and thus are in many cases faster on AMD cards.
