I'm thinking about getting the Moto X- unless, the Nexus 6 (or whatever it's going to be called) is released soon. Any news about it?

If it comes with a 1440p screen, I may be willing to wait.

Why.

1440P screens on phones are pretty bad. Hardly anything is really sharper and the battery life takes a great hit.

Not just battery life, but performance, heat, and screen brightness is usually overall lower on QHD panels. Its a hyped up thing with diminishing returns kicking in hard.
