Motorcycles, vroom vroom.

Roujuan

I remember at one point, Linus got a motorcycle of some sort, but I didn't really care at the time so I more or less ignored it. Now I have my own motorcycle and I love it. Does anyone know if Linus is still on that thing?

Furthermore, any other LTT fans on two wheels?

On four. I'm not sure 2 would be my thing. Fun, but not worth it to me.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

The provincial government where I live have made it nearly prohibitively expensive to own a bike where I live.

I was the same way. I told my friend he was dumb for wanting to get a motorcycle. I dunno what changed but suddenly, I'm all about it.

Currently I ride a 2001 Honda CR250, Around October I'll be getting a 2005 Suzuki GSXR-750.

Gixxers are killer, man! Aesthetically, I prefer the two-headlight look but that's just preference. I'm on a '95 ninja 250, and once I have the funds I'll be getting myself some sort of 600 (CBR, preferably).

My ultimate dream bike is the Aprilia RSV4, so mean yet so elegant!

I'm not an expert on it either.

I don't register a bike, but people who do say it is very expensive to register and out plates on them.

Like more expensive than a sports car.

Kind of defeats the purpose of owning a bike from a financial standpoint.

That's so unfortunate :/ It's not bad where I'm at. Insurance is especially cheap! Something like $140 a year when I told them that I hadn't even ridden one before :P

If I had I bike I would be jelly.

No kidding. However, it does not affect me much. Other vehicle registration rates dropped like 2.5%.

Rode my 2007 Gixxer 750 for 7 years, it was totaled back in March when an oncoming car turned left into me. I have made a full recovery. God bless you and if someone hits you I just hope they have a lot of insurance.

edit: Also carry as much underinsured and uninsured as you can.

Forgive me El Guapo. I know that I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect and education...
