Best Price to quality Ratio 4k TV?

Right now I'm looking for a friend for a 4k tv because I do want to get him the best price and the best quality he can considering the price tag of most 4k Tv's.

 

 

He would prefer 65"-70" but 60" is fine also.

 

I'm not very educated in the Tv realm, more in the monitor world than anything so I need some sort of outside opinion.

 

his budget is anything under 2500$ prefferably.

Hi, I dont think that 4k TVs are worth it because there is no 4k content and most likely wont be for a long time.

If he's gaming with a console, he better prepare for input lag due to the massive up-scaling the tv will have to do.

The Vizio P-Series 70" fits his budget just. I have seen them in Best Buy, they look really good.

 

Most other options from high end brands cost around $300-$500 more.

1. no 4K content (hell, my cable isn't even showing 720p content (though they are a shit cable service))

2. terrible experience on console

 

Your friend won't need a 4K TV for at least a few years, get a high end (?) 1080P TV.
