Frame rate drop in video

Hi,

 

I'm rendering a full HD video with Sony Vegas and no matter what bit rate I use (I even tried the maximum value) I still notice a huge drop in the frame rate in some scenes. All the other parameters such as the resolution and the frame rate are the same as the original video's. I also tried to remove all interlacing option but it doesn't change anything.

I'd like to know if this can be a hardware issue. I usually render videos with a dedicated GPU, but I have issues with my motherboard so I'm using the iGPU. I should get a new motherboard on Monday, but I'd like to make sure it's a hardware issue, or if there's something I can do.

I don't know if I gave enough information, so feel to ask if you need to know anything else.
