AMD launched a new teaser via twitter.

This is a play on the famous Matrix scene.

It's still unclear what this announcement is going to be about. But we're all staring at the elephant in the room which is Nvidia's 900 series.
Sooner or later AMD will need to directly address the competition. Are they going to do it on September 25th ? we can't say for sure yet.
However it's worthy of note that on September the 25th AMD held their GPU14 conference last year in which the R9 290X & 290 were announced.

The impending announcement is likely going to be graphics related because AMD followed the original tweet with this :

Who else is excited for the R9 285X?

It'll be stronger than the 290 but weaker than the 280X because AMD is a bunch of what.[/sarcasm]

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

I'd actually be really happy if they were to release an APU similar to the one in the PS4. Otherwise it better be the R9 390X.

AMD just stop being so childish with this game 24 thing. If you don't release a card that out performs a titan Z for $300, then you're going to be laughed at. You've hyped yourself up too much to possibly live up to it.

That is not what i was referring to. The blue pill is probably intel. But future is AMD is a play onm future is here by nvidia.

The blue pill is definitely not Nvidia.

It's a Matrix theme. Morpheous gave the option to Neo to either choose the blue pill and forget everything or the red pill and go into the matrix.

That is not what i was referring to. The blue pill is probably intel. But future is AMD is a play onm future is here by nvidia.

I'm sorry but that's tin-foil hat territory. You can't create an entire campaign in just two days. This was obviously prepared well before game24.

"No pills required" also could mean the launch of GPU's. It could be AMD's way of saying our new GPU's will perform great on either platforms (I have a feeling Mantle is involved as well). Could be R9 300 series and possibly a couple of AAA game titles with Mantle support.
