Can I run multiple fans on 12V using one 4-pin Molex?

I don't know much about the principles of electrical engineering, but since I can power multiple 120V devices on one 120V wall socket, it should be possible to run multiple fans from one 4-pin Molex to run on full power (12V), right? 

So if this is possible, what would be the keyword to fund such an adapter?

Yeah, you can run them with any problem, you just need a Molex Splitter ;)

Oh yeah, that would totally work (I'm sorry, I assumed you had molex fans, but if you have fans with 3-pin / 4-pin fans connectors that's what you need ;) )

Yup. I ran close to a dozen Delta's off of just one. No problems whatsoever (other than the noise).

No doubts that there is no problem running them, but I was just wondering if they would actually all run on 12V because I only found tons of 12v to 5v adapters at first.

Oh, now I get how the different adapters must work:

At least 12V and 5V. I guess 7V adapters use -12V and +5V or something?

I might actually build the adapter/splitter on my own. :D
