Upgrading to 1440p

I am planning on upgrading to a 1440p monitor from my 1366x768 monitor (it's 42") I hear that Korean monitors are the best bang for the buck to purchase for 1440p, but why should I get a Korean monitor if I can get the ASUS MX279H 27" for less? I know people use the Korean monitors to overclock for higher Mhz, but I don't think I will be seeing much of an improvement over 60fps with my 270x crossfired. Any advise you guys can provide?

The difference is that that monitor is only 1080p compared to 1440p. I would also see if your PC can drive the monitor, so if you could list the specs we could help. @dylan43270

Wow I am derp about that. I found it under 1440p monitors and thought it was 1440p... That makes a lot more sense. Here is my setup.
