What can I do to make this happen?

XTankSlayerX

Not sure if the switch already exists but I'd love a Cherry MX Black mixed with a Brown. Tried some Blacks at the local NCIX and i feel like it suits my heavy typer way. Although i would like one with a tactile bump, that is silent. Some time ago i ran into a video saying that a MX Green is pretty much the spring from a black and the frame from a Blue.

I would like to buy a Corsair RGB with browns and then replace the springs in them with balcks, although id only do this if there was no risk of damaing the key switches and their housing. Or should i just wait till Corsair releases a black seitched keyboard or just go buy a brown one and get over my small dilemma?

Ill fix the format of the post in a sec, posting from my nvidia shield... Sorry!

I don't think it's a smart idea disassembling switches... Plus you would have to gather all the components (x100) which will consume lots of time and money. It's just easier (and a lot cheaper) to find a MX Green keyboard.

Asrock 890GX Extreme 3 - AMD Phenom II X4 955 @3.50GHz - Arctic Cooling Freezer XTREME Rev.2 - 4GB Kingston HyperX - AMD Radeon HD7850 - Kingston V300 240GB - Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB - Chieftec APS-750 - Cooler Master HAF912 PLUS

Yeah, seems like im going to have to settle with the MX browns when those come up... Any word on those yet?

Thanks, almost 5 AM here. My mind is all over the place...

If you are looking for heavier browns, clears are the way to go. The selection of keyboards is kinda limited but there are some good ones like the Code Keyboard for example

Personal Build Project "Rained-On"

helped building up the CPU Overclocking Database and GPU Overclocking Database, check them out ;)

#KilledMyWife #MakeBombs #LinusIsNotFunny || Please, dont use non-default grey font colors. Think about the night-theme users! ;)

They are called tacto-blacks. You have to mod them yourself. They have a really nice feel and I like them. Modding switches isn't dangerous if you are careful, but may take some time. Unless you are using a PCB mounted keyboard. You will have to desoldier the switch. I should be done with my keyboard modding guide by tonight. Ill try to remember to link it.
