Logitech G602 vs Logitech G600 vs Razer Naga 2014 and Logitech G105 vs Razer Deathstalker Essential 2014

Not sure if I should've made this in two threads, but here it goes my story:

So I got a bit of extra cash on my hands atm, so I thought why not use it to upgrade my PC a bit?

I decided on 3 mice: the Logitech G602, the Logitech G600, and the Razer Naga 2014.

I don't play a lot of FPS games, mostly MMOs, so I'd like to get a MMO mouse.

I'd prefer Logitech over Razer by the way, since I don't think that Razer has customer support here in India.

Thoughts on what I should get? Depending on current prices I *probably* should be able to get both a gaming mice and a keyboard.

EDIT: Lol, I was such in a rush that I forgot to mention the keyboards I wanted to buy. I like the Razer Deathstalker Essential because of its quiet keys, and the Logitech G105 because of its backlit keys.

I own a Logitech G602 and while i like it, I'm still having trouble getting use to all the side buttons.

I keep pressing others most of time!

The 602 is a good choice IMO, it has plenty of buttons and is wireless (some prefer that, I don't) but I think it has the option of being wired. Not sure about that part though. additionally I haven't hear anything bad about the sensor.

I would also recommend you take a look at the 502, and 402. They are similar to the 602 is several aspects, but have key differences.

Other than that I cant really recommend much more mice, I have only owned a G300 (cheap, but plenty of buttons 2500DPI max) and a G502. My brother has the 602, and the 402 is basically a cheaper 502.

Spoiler

Case Bitfenix Ghost, Mobo Asus Maximus VIII Ranger, CPU i7 6700K @4.2 Ghz cooled by Arctic cooling Freezer i30, (barely). GPU Nvidia GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 @1519Mhz core, RAM 16Gb Crucial Ballistix CL16 @2400Mhz. SSD 128GB Sandisk Ultra Plus as my OS drive. HDD's  1TB  Seagate ST31000524AS its OEM, 3TB Seagate Barracuda, 2x 500GB WDC Blue (RAID 0)

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.

Logitech G502 and Tesoro Durandal G1N.

Honestly, the G502 looks nice and all, but I kind of dislike the design and prefer the G602's design over it. The Durandal isn't well known and I probably won't be able to purchase it here.

The G602 doesn't have the option of being wired; which is why I kind of dislike it. The G502 has features that I honestly probably won't use, except maybe the scroll wheel left/right might have some use. G402 doesn't have enough buttons for me :/

Can anyone tell me how comfortable the G600 is? Like can you reach all the buttons?

Yeah that what was I was worried about. How long have you owned it for?

G600 & G105.

I'll look into these; although atm the Razer keyboard is cheaper than the G105 for some reason :S

Yeah but there isn't support available here so I'm not going to be able to get one. Plus they're nearly two times the price of the other mice I described.

I think I've finally decided on the mouse guys. The G600 looks like the one for me. I have a few questions about that as well.

1. Does the firmware bug in the G600 exist? I know it happens with older G600s but I don't want to get the older one and find out I can't upgrade the firmware.

2. Can all the side buttons be reached easily

3. How big is the mouse?

Let me know about good keyboards as well.

The G502 doesn't have enough side buttons for me.. although the scroll wheel is a nice touch, I feel like the G602 and the G600 is better than both of them. The G600 has more buttons, better DPI and a movable scroll wheel which is why I'm buying it over the G602.

I have medium sized hands with long fingers, and the G600 fits me perfectly. I've never had a problem with firmware updates on mine, and I can easily reach all of the buttons on the mouse (while wearing Mechanix MPact half-finger gloves, no less). Though to be fair, I do have a bit of dexterity in my thumb. I use the tip to activate the first six side buttons, and my knuckle to activate the back/bottom six.

The cable is really nice, too. A soft, rope-like braided cable. Extremely flexible, smooth, and easy to work with.

Forgot to mention, and I wanted to draw your attention...

I know you didn't ask this, but I think you'll be very pleased with the quality of customer support with Logitech. I've dealt with them a few times, and they've always done what they could to make things right, even if it's not that on which we agreed.

What I mean by that is I have a G930 Wireless Gaming Headset. It's a great headset, but it only works on PC, and it drops connection from time-to-time because of my environment. We agreed on a return for a refund, but during the course of the discussion I kept on about how much I love the headset and wanted to just make it work. I've responded to all their emails about proof of purchase and all that, but it seems they've conveniently "forgotten" about the return, allowing me to hold onto it, even if only for a bit longer. What's more is the case has been escalated to corporate due to me not being the only one to make the complaint, so my case and the testing I did is contributing to the collective effort to get that issue resolved for everyone.

The only other company that's shown me such a desire to fulfill my needs rather than their sales quota, and I know you aren't looking for a headset but I'm just making a point with this, is ASTRO Gaming. I have bugged them incessantly with my indecisiveness between their A50 and SteelSeries' H Wireless, but they've supported me and my decision making process the whole way.

I hope this helps you in some way.

Thanks :P I'm not an audiophile so I'm not really looking into headsets atm. I know Logitech's support is legendary - pretty sure Linus himself has said that countless times in his reviews of Logitech products. That being said is that I'm finally going through with the G600, and as for the keyboard, I don't think I'll be purchasing one in the near future as I'm pretty used to my membrane one at the moment. If I buy a headset though, it'll probably be a Sennheiser or an Audio Technica.

Yeah, you simply can't go wrong with Logitech.

The fun thing about them is that they don't have a repair service. It's way cheaper, for them, to just replace 'broken' stuff with brand new ones so you won't have to worry to get a half repaired mouse back in case it breaks and you RMA it :)
