Transfer progams and install paths to new drive

Hey guys, I've got an SSD boot drive with a 1TB WD blue storage drive and I need to replace the WD. I've installed then new drive and used Reflect to clone the contents.

Now I want to remove the old drive (it's dying) and replace its functionality with the new drive. How do I do this so that I don't create a whole bunch of broken links trying to find the old drive?

Can I make it so programs know to look for the new drive?

Change the letter of the old drive to anything unused and then change the new drive lettern to the old drive letter :-)i have done the same thing with acronis a month ago and all worked perfect

The advice of nekro is a good one and should apply well also in your case, although he used a different software. So, I'd say, go ahead and enjoy your new drive!

I use acronis only for cloning i change the letter from windows disk manager:-)
