"Special" Raid Array

Go to solution Solved by AlwaysFSX,

Yeah, I used a laptop and desktop drive in a RAID array...

Recently, I've been desiring a bit more HDD performance. However, I don't want to spend the money for more hard drives for a Raid array and I can't afford an SSD.

Can you *semi-safely* use two different drives in a Raid 0 config and not have it expel some sort of demon at me? Also, if so, maybe 3? I know I'm asking for some hate and/or serious trouble later on, but I like to live on the edge.

Okay. I wasn't sure if there would be some error because drives were different. I've never done Raid and I don't want to lose all my drives to Raid failing. Thanks. :)
