I recently built a new computer and have been having troubles with my disk activity continuing to max out and stall the computer for 30 seconds to a minute. I have tried two different SSD's and have installed both windows 7 and 8. Same problem persists each time. I also tried installing win 7 on an old HDD and for the short period of time I used the HDD I had no hang ups. I can't seem to find a solution to my exact problem anywhere so here I am. I have noticed that my north-bridge on my motherboard is very hot to touch but I don't know if that can be part of the issue or not. Hope some one can help! Thank you!

Here is a picture of my resource manager when the problem happens.
