Hey guys, so I figgured why not put up a build page for my work in progress 800D build. 

 

Specs below, I will be replacing the GPU as soon as the new ones come out, with whatever is the next flagship card.

MSI X99S SLI

R9 290 Crossfire

16GB DDR4 Crucial
ASus Xonar STX
Crucial m4 x3 - Raid0 756GB

Samsung 120gb SSD (x2)

 

Raid1 WD blue - 1TB

R9 290 (Will be changed)
16GB Corsair

There are a few things not pictured. (tinted window, vinyl decals, carbon fiber mid plate, acryllic basement cover, etc)

Looking for suggestions on coolant color. I was thinking pastel white.

Looks great I had a heck of a time Finding a good z77 mother board that would look good in my system

Thanks! Oh yeah forgot to mention, I vinyled over the heatsinks on this board (partially), they were nasty yellow before.

 

 

DSLRs make everything look better

Yeah, knowing how to properly use your camera always helps :)

I did the same with my asus  P67 sabortooth  the heat sinks on it are pea green 

OMG another person with a Sabertooth P67 too! I don't feel so alone anymore! :D :D :D

why not clear? I wouldn't want to mess up that beautiful UV blue, plus any other color would be visible through the blue and red tubing, making it look weird..

You had my eyes glued to the screen from the moment I saw the carbon fiber front panel. That will really bring the build together.

Thanks! Yeah I think the CF goes well with the build. There are a few things inside the case that are now CF also. I will get some pics up soon.

Just ordered a ton of LEDs, some UV strips and some white / orange and blue ones to backlight the Aperture logo. Should look pretty good once done..
