I can't wear earphones, please assist :(

I have no idea why, but in-ear earphones such as http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-IE80-Headphone/dp/B005N8W27I DO NOT fit in my ears. I've tried every size of ear tips and different brands. None of them fit. I can only wear terrible things like http://www.skullcandy.com/chops-bud. Are there even high quality on-ears that I could buy????

I got a 404 on the ones you said fit.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

If I were to guess, you probably just have a very weird ear canal shape. My ear canal is very oddly shaped in the inner portion, and is just big towards the outside, so I find that with in-ear headphones they oftentimes don't seal up properly, but otherwise I'm fine with in-ear headphones.

Now as far as what you can do, there are custom molded headphones you can get, but from what I've heard they are all quite expensive. The other route, is you can just not use in-ear headphones, which may actually be a good option. It turns out that it's really easy to listen to music far too loud with in-ear headphones. Many people in the current young adult generation have significant hearing loss because of listening to music too loud. I'm a musician and composer so my hearing is paramount to me. So I'm considering never using in-ear headphones again.

I think he's referring to IEMs, not on-ear headphones.

I'm assuming it's a typo because the first link were the IE80s.

Sorry guys, last sentence was a typo :(. I am referring to IEM's, not headphones. To retry the link, here's the ones that fit me but sound terrible: http://www.skullcandy.com/chops-bud

If that link doesn't work, they're the skullcandy chops bud on-ear. Yeah... skullcandy....

Apple earpods maybe?

I've tried them and they do work, but I was wondering if there are any higher end options from a company like sennheiser, beyerdynamic, audio-technica, etc

It's a negative fit, are you putting them on correctly?

It wasn't the IE80s specifically, I was just using that as an example. No in-ear earbuds I've tried have stayed in my ears.

I would try the Shure SE215 as they loop around your ears like the skullcandys and come with comply memory foam tips that conform to your ear canal.

Try getting a pair of comply foam tips first, and see if that solve your problem. I got similar problem, the entrance to the canals of my ears have different shape. With regular rubber tips, sometimes I get low bass on 1 ear, due to lack of isolation. Comply solved the problem for me.

Alright, I'll try the comply ear tips. Linus recommended them but I wasn't sure if they would work. I actually don't have any in-ears at the moment, I'll look for some that I can use to test out the comply tips.

For the price of comply tips you can easily get a pair of clip-ons that sound pretty good, but, whatever.

I'll probably look at some other stuff, maybe I'll try the Koss's that you recommended.

If comply ear tips don't work as well, you could get custom IEM's if you have a big budget.

This place has some affordable customs and I think they can ship over-seas.

Another option could be "decibullz earmoulds" they're like $15 and you heat them up and stick them in your ear and mould them to the shape of your ear canal

Anyone know any good earbuds under $50 that I can try the comply ear tips with? I know $50 won't get me much, I'm just looking for something decent.

Not exactly my budget, I'm looking for a option around $50. I'll look at the earmoulds though.

First, are you inserting them into your ear far enough? If you aren't used to in ears you might not be inserting them far enough. If it really doesn't work then Yuin PK are good earbuds but the wire in them is a bit shoddy.
