144hz vs 60hz

As always, it depends. On a 27", yes. But it comes down to preference.

Gaming-only, fps-driven? Then go for 1080 - it's enough for actual gameplay. Tech-wannahavery is just that - wanna have for no good reason.

Or as me, wanting a monitor that can cater to both gaming and productivity. Want more screen realestate, multiple monitors cumbersome.

There is a shitload of difference between 144Hz and 60Hz. Switching from 144Hz to 60Hz makes me puke...

Depending on the games you play, it probably can.

I can get 144fps in most games on my single 780.

Let me put it this way, it's a much bigger improvement then IPS over TN is.

High settings and no AA should be around 144? Anyway...anything above 80-90 is lots better than 60.
