I generally listen to music while playing games, doing homework etc. 

 

What's a good amplifier for my headphones?

Yeah...I'm looking for a portable one too...I'm just overwhelmed with model numbers and reviews, just looking for firsthand advise. Under $150...

FiiO E7 is pretty good and reasonably priced if you need something battery powered. A Syba DAC would be sufficient for most headphones if you intend on leaving connected to the laptop the whole time.
