Prepare to be amazed (when I am done) My First Case Mod

LarsReviews

On ebay I got the CODEGEN E-6097 for free in Silver.

This is how it looks like, when it is put all together(I have the silver one, not the black):

And that is how it looks like, when you remove all the screws:

The PSU, is top mounted, I think I will move it to the front. I have no Idea what the black stuff is. Looks like someone had a bad OC :):

The rear has something special. Standard 7 PCI slots:

Both side panels, top panel and front are made out of really sturdy aluminum and have huge dust filters:

Super cool Aluminum feet and handels:

What I want to do:

  • Allow it to have 120 or 140mm fans
  • paint inside black,
  • insert a glass panels windows in the sidepanel
  • remove HDD cage for PSU (or is it fine to have a top mounted one?)
  • make CPU cutout
  • cable cutouts

So what do you think?

That is actually a really cool case. But how much airflow does it take to maintain positive pressure? Otherwise that must be nightmare in terms of dust.

Will you make feet and handles stealth? Cus they grab attention immediatly by stupidly sticking out.

Sorry, I don't understand the question.

Alot. The top and font can fit 180s. The back only  92mm. If I put the PSU in the front, I can install a huge rad.

Not much. As long as more air goes in than out all is well. This case could have been majestic as fuck but those expansion bays are such an eyesore. (All due respect though)

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

I want to remove them anyways. I only use SSDs, so they will just be taped to the bottom of the case.

Anyone know if I need to sand the interior before painting?

I just found out that the case is made out of steel. The finish tricked me. But that means, I can weld it to reduce the gap between the handles.
