“Your transformation is not a disease. You were just given the key to the door in front of you. There’s no need to know the cause. No need for sorrow or sadness. What comes next is up to you. You can use your keys to open the door… Or lock it tight. And if you do choose to open it… You can still decide not to pass through.” -Kisuke Urahara

What is the point of this post?

To let him know that it won't be cheap?

Other than that I apologise for posting useless stuff. I am bored  -_-

Alright, no problem lol.  :P

Although again from another thread, I'd like to talk about microphones and whether getting a better mic really makes a difference for stuff like in-game chat, Skype and Youtube videos. Linus had a video where he tried various mics to ask us which we liked the most, and they all sounded the same apart from a portable one that sounded worse.

The microphone that they use on the wan show is a professional quality shotgun microphone. I think (may be wrong) it is a Sennhiser MKH series microphone, though I can't remember the exact model.

If it's a Sennheiser MKH series it'll most likely be a 416 (It's the sound guy standard), in Australia they go for about $1000 each but they are pretty fantastic. If it's a Rode, it'll probably be a NTG-3 (it's around the same size as the 416) and that goes for about $800 here in Aus but they are Australian Made :). Or they could be using something completely different :/.

  • 2 weeks later...

Was watching 'The ULTIMATE Linus Tech Tips Studio Tour!' again and realised at 13:35 of the video in the storage cupboard, there is a box for a RODE NTG-2. So it's a NTG-2.
