Hyperx Cloud vs Steelseries Siberia Elite (gaming/directional accuracy)

I have been looking for a Good gaming headset lately. since i am unexperienced with them, i find it very Hard to choose which one i should buy. Currently i am stuck between the steelseries siberia elites and the hyperx clouds. Which ones should i buy? The price does not matter.

I would also like to know if it is a good Idea to use the astro mixamp if you are gaming on a computer. (Sorry on beforehand if i have said somthing ignorant)

Get the Sennheiser HD558 and use the mixamp instead of the two.

The hyperx clouds are the better headphone wise but mic wise i do not know which is better.
I have the the qpad- qh-90 which are wht the clouds are rebrands of and the sound quality punches well above price point also read somewhere that beyerdynamic makes the drivers for them.

If you're just after gaming advantage, I'd try the AD700x, They are $123 used here on Amazon. People tend to think they are dynamite headphones for FPS positional audio. (Note: No mic... could be a dealbreaker for some people.)

i have heard mic tests on the hyperx clouds and they seem to be much better mic wise. Thanks for the tip :)

Cloud. Don't bother with the astro mixamp unless you already have it.

will do :)

I checked levelcaps review on it. They seem to be a very good headset. though i'd like to have semi-audiophile grade music sound and have a mic on them :)  I will probably buy that headset if i decide to play competetive FPS :)

Siberia elites would probably be better, the clouds are made as kinda budget headsets

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

Xfactorgaming also likes them a lot. I wish they've tried the K701 though.

Eh, I doubt it. Cloud's are pretty decent in terms of soundstage and imaging. the OP is better off getting an open-backed pair of headphones + Mod mic 4.0 if needed.
