MSI z97 gaming 5 vs Gigabyte G1 Sniper z97?

Which is the better choice? Mainly looking at audio/reliability, since I doubt performance varies too much between boards at this price point.

Gigabyte Gaming 5 has the better VRM with 8 true phases. its about the same price. $139 at neweg right now.

 Boards with atleast 8 true digital phases mininum  without doublers are best.  All the high end boards have it. the gaming 5 gives you that at a great price.

That's what I was leaning to, but every time I try to catch the combo with the 4790k for $30 discount, it is unavailable..
