RazrLeaf

Newegg has a shell shocker deal today that is the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 SC w/ EVGA ACX Cooler (03G-P4-2784-KR) for $419.00 with a $20.00 MIR, making the final price $399.99.

Yes, the 970 and 980 are going to be announced Friday, but for those that'd be happy with a 780 (or have one and want to SLI), this is the lowest price I've seen on an EVGA card ever.

I was gonna post this up early, but really isn't the GTX 970 suppose to be similar in performance? If they really do only add less than 200 more CUDA cores like the rumored specs, I will go with the 780

It's even the ACX :(

EVGA's Customer Service, RMA Department, and Rebates are the best in the business if you ask me.

EVGA has that step up program.

The GTX 780 ACX can't be stepped up, only the reference card can be

Maxwell cores are more powerful than kepler cores, the 970 will be better performing, and cheaper too. I would wait a couple days and pick up a 970. :P

EVGA's website says that any new -KR part that gets registered within 14 days of purchase from an authorized reseller is eligible.  I don't see why this card wouldn't qualify.

When I checked the list of allowed cards I didn't see it

Not true. Any model with KR at the end (including SC acx) can be traded in. You mean you can only GET a reference, but you can trade in almost any evga 780 iirc.

That's the list of cards you can trade up TO. Not trade in.

Do you guys think this will be one of the best deals on the gtx780 that we'll see before Christmas? Consider that I also was going to buy borderlands: TPS eventually, so the price is really, $340 to me.

DAMN. Canadia never has deals like this! Oh well, I'm saving up for other stuff anyways.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)
