Hey,

So Im planning to build this pc mainly for gaming but im going to be doing some editing and rendering.

CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K 3.3GHz 6-Core Processor ($299.99 @ Micro Center) Or (i7-5960X?)

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($94.99 @ Newegg)

Motherboard: Asus RAMPAGE V EXTREME EATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard ($498.98 @ NCIX US)

Memory: Corsair DOMINATOR Platinum 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4-2666 Memory ($459.99 @ Newegg)

Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($85.98 @ OutletPC)

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($102.99 @ Amazon)

If there's not a good reason to buy a 500$ mobo then it's a big waste of money buying the Rampage V

 

Also, you may want to postpone buying GPU as the 900 series is near
