Win8 trying to open a .ASHX file every 5 min

Do you know where that file is stored? If you dont know it better delete it if it s not used for anything. If you re afraid of a virus etc download MalwareBytes and scan your PC

 

I recommend you delete it is supposed to be a dangerous executable. At least that s what I've read on a few sites.

so i had windows 8.1 for soon a year now and suddenly it has begun to start popp up every 5-15 min that windows couldent find a way to open a .ASHX file.

now the problem is, im scared this is virus or something because im not trying to open a file.
