I have three questions

gilang01

ladies and gentlemen

I have three questions for you all

1. what resolution is regarded as the standard (for gaming) for displays nowadays?

2. what frame rate is the bare minimum for gaming (playable vs unplayable) in your opinion?

3. what graphical setting (high/medium/low) dictates your next upgrade?

thank you

When my frames dip below 60 it looks like shit with all the stuttering, even if its above 30. Unplayable.

1. 1080p is the bare minimum for me.

2. 45fps is fine by me, but it really depends on the game.

3. If i can't max a game out then I will most likely want an upgrade.

A bit late to the party, but I tend to agree with most.

1. 1080p seems to be fairly standard now

2. 45 FPS is what I was playing at for a long time and it's playable (I'm at 144 now)

3. Honestly, just the ability to play the games that I have bought in advance (typically on high settings, but medium is acceptable)

you guys seriously can't play below 60 fps?

10-15 is the bare minimum for me

damn pc gamers

I think we are talking about fps that isn't so depending about being stable. Dip from 15fps to 5 is much bigger issue than from 60 to 45.

Stable 50 is with what I played BF series comp. But I prefer 70 with dips to 60.

As for gfx, I really don't care. If I can get my fps stable 120 I'm happy.
