SSD Space Missing

NE0XY

Hi guys!

I noticed today that I only have 7.5/120GB space left on my SSD, which is super weird since I only use it for windows and some software like Chrome etc. When I add up all the folders I get 43.7GB, so why does it say only 7.5GB left? Where my gigs at? =(

Thank you

Probably because of your page file and hibernation file. Use WinDirStat. It will visually show what's taking space.

Performance mode in samsung magician reserves a good chunk of space.

Try using the Disk Cleanup tool from windows itself (look in your start menu). This cleans up alot of stuff like temporary file, windows.old and cleans up some pagefile stuff sometimes.

Why your pagefile took 32GB? Can't u reduce it to like 8GB or even lower?

Move your pagefile to HDD and reduce it to 8-16Gb. If you have trouble, you can leave something like 400mb into to SSD.
