Meh... Never was fond of them. They seem like decent headphones, but I hate corded ones. 

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

Just another cheap, commodity "audio" peripheral. Avoid in favor of real headphones.

I'd buy a entry level or if you can afford it a decent audiophile headphone. 

 

Once you hear quality sound you'll never want to go back. Trust me... I have a bunch of headphones.

Yeah, probably that. Or Sennheiser something. Not going to be more specific because this is probably the billionth thread asking for ~$100 headset/phones.

The mic quality on that thing is really bad and they don't look that good to me personally.

Modmic has better quality than pretty much any headset except for maybe those super expensive audiotechnica ones. 

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.

Unless it was the mic of a Pro Audio company's headset, I'd get a mod mic.
