My samsung chromebook seems to be doing a little better than yours. My keyboard, boot times, and logos seem to be doing better however I do agree that the build sucks. My headphone jack is broken also, the audio gets messed up unless I hold the wire in a strange position. I've also confirmed that it it the chromebook causing the issue by using different devices and headphones.

BUT......I also got it for free lol

Even then... Get a Dell Venue Pro tablet.

I have to plug my headphones in, take them out, hit that corner of my Chromebook, and then plug them back in. Otherwise I have to hold the one button on my headphones to not have messed up audio.

Is the housing around your headphone jack broken? Mine is and I think it may be part of the problem.

Yup.

The ASUS chrome book is a beast you should try that one

I knew ASUS made Chromeboxes, but Chromebooks? Give me a link, please.

This is one of those things that if I owned one, I'd probably just install a remote desktop client on it. These things aren't that useful.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

I did that with my iPad and made a tutorial on how to do it.

I still don't understand the appeal for a chromebook. Honestly, can someone explain to me why people buy these?

My friend text me before coming home from America.

"Chrome book yes?"

No don't even think about it.

"But its so cheap"

Exactly, it'll break within a month if not it will have slowed down to the point of being unusable

"It seems pretty snappy and I only want it for college"

Do what you want its your money but I wouldn't buy one I'd just spend a little more and get a windows hybrid.

Several weeks later.

"I'm having issues with my laptop"

I'm not fixing them.

/Fin

Great review man sums up my feelings for chrome books and helps me justify my dislike for them.
