Question about cheap Motherboards

Hey everyone is there an issue in using a cheap entry board in gaming? Except that it lacks extra ports and oc features etc.

Like for example I have

Pentium G3240

Asus h81m-k?

Evga 500B

1TB Western Blue

9500GT

Will I have issue if I get a new gpu or processor?

Thanks

If you get something like a g3258, then you'll still be able to overclock. If you get something like a 4790k, then you wont really be able to overclock...

If you want XFIRE graphics then you either go with a select H97 board or any Z87/Z97 board; and if you want to SLI then you must go z87/z97.

No, not at all. Most motherboards don't differ in performance.

The main performance boost is a new GPU.

Thanks man. So I get oc features and SLI and Xfire features in more expensive boards. How about the longevity of the board?

Thanks man. How about the oc of GPU? Does it have any effect? And the longevity of the board?

Overclocking a GPU gives you a minimal amount of performance.

If you don't need the features don't pay for them :)
